Overview
Whitecrest Primary School is looking to appoint a Level 2 Learning Support Practitioner to join their team. We are a school with a strong community ethos. The successful candidate will support pupils with SEND needs 1:1 or in small groups within the classroom, delivering interventions and supervising pupils at lunchtime. The role will also involve close liaison with the class-teacher and the SENCo.
Responsibilities
* Support pupils with SEND needs 1:1 or in small groups within the classroom, delivering interventions and supervising pupils at lunchtime.
* Collaborate with the class teacher and the SENCo to plan and deliver appropriate support for pupils.

* The ability to develop relationships with children and adults and to work effectively as part of a team.
* The ability to create resources to help the children you are supporting.

Additional information: This post is part-time (32.5 hours). Grade B (SCP 4, £25,185 per annum) – Actual Salary – £19,314–£19,569 p.a. Location: Whitecrest Primary School, Great Barr, Sandwell, Birmingham B43 6HQ.
