We are looking for someone who is well-organised and a good communicator to provide administrative support for MEA's Energy Advice Service and project delivery. This includes fuel poverty, energy efficiency, renewable energy and other carbon reduction measures. You will deliver exemplary customer service, answer phone queries and assist with events and home visits. You will join our Derby & Derbyshire team.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist Managers in the delivery and coordination of projects and services to a high quality, within the resources provided and on time. This includes:
* liaising with partners and contractors to ensure that timely and accurate information is provided to us
* assisting with marketing and information campaigns
* ordering goods
* supporting delivery of grants, for example issuing vouchers, helping redemptions
* other routine or administrative tasks to support project activity as needed ensuring the quality and timeliness of the deliverables
Assist the energy advice teams through dealing with enquiries and providing advice and support to customers. This includes:
* answering the queries by phone, taking information and logging relevant information on the CRM. Providing more routine advice, with instruction where needed
* Taking internet and email queries, sending more routine responses and logging them on the CRM
* attending events, speaking to customers and providing routine information and advice
* attending home visits, either more routine visits such as evidence collection, or as 'second person' working under the direction of another member of staff
* liaising with householders to update them of progress or otherwise, by phone, email etc.
Ensure the delivery of excellent customer service and the highest standards of customer and partner engagement.
Assist with the delivery of the Key Performance Indicators and outcomes and outputs for the relevant projects.
Ensure the highest levels of Health and Safety are maintained to ensure the safety of staff and volunteers, as well as customers.
Comply with all financial and administrative procedures as required by MEA.

Person Specification
Essential
o Proven ability to be able to provide accurate information to a range of customers via phone and email
o Good general knowledge of energy efficiency and the wider support available customers or a willingness to learn
o Proven ability to develop and maintain productive working relationships with colleagues and external contacts with a broad community of interests, with the ability to work with all parties to deliver high standards
o Demonstrable knowledge and commitment to deliver excellent customer service and improve quality
o Proven ability to prioritise and manage a diverse and time critical workload to deliver results
o Ability to work as part of a team but to also work unsupervised
o Proven track record of excellent organisational and interpersonal skills
o Good ITC skills
o Demonstrate the ability to think clearly and ability to communicate effectively at all levels, internally and externally

o Ability to meet the travel needs of the post, which may include being able to travel to meetings, MEA's offices and other places as required.
Training: City & Guilds Level 3 Energy Awareness should be passed as part of your probation. You may work towards or gain further qualifications within the role.
Location: Home-based, with some time at our Hub-space in Belper.
Leave: 24 paid days pro-rata per annum + bank holidays.
Duration: 2 years, extension subject to funding.
