Advert Title: Facilities Helpdesk Support Assistant – Hatfield, AL10 9AB

Location: Hatfield, AL10 9AB

Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00am – 17:00pm, or 9:00am - 18:00pm

We’re currently looking to recruit a Facilities Helpdesk Support Assistant to provide helpdesk administration support to our South Division, including engineers, contract managers and clients. This role is based at the University of Hertfordshire. You will be the first point of contact for incoming calls and will be responsible for updating paperwork on both our system and the client’s system. In this role you will place callouts, be responsible for raising POs, chasing, and updating job reports whilst also quoting and booking any additional works. In addition, you will liaise with the client team on a regular basis to ensure proactive support of their requirements.


Responsibilities

* Provide helpdesk administration support to the South Division, including engineers, contract managers and clients.
* Be the first point of contact for incoming calls and update paperwork on our systems and the client’s system.
* Place callouts, raise purchase orders, chase progress, and update job reports.
* Quote and book any additional works as required.
* Liaise with the client team regularly to ensure proactive support of their requirements.


Qualifications

* Good communication skills and numeracy skills
* Computer literate with knowledge of Word/Excel
* Experience in a similar environment
* Good attention to detail
* Experience in raising purchase orders
* Understanding of Health and Safety Legislation
* Knowledge of CAFM systems
* Experience in coordinating specialist sub-contractor visits
