Location: Pontefract (with services in Pontefract, Wakefield, Doncaster, Eggborough, and Barnsley)

Salary:
Unqualified: Base salary of £25,755.60 (potential total of £31,155.60 with sleep-in shifts)
Qualified (Level 3 Diploma or equivalent): Base salary of £26,303.16 (potential total of £31,703.16 with sleep-in shifts)
Specific Hours: 39 hours per week

Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Young Persons Support Worker, your days will be dynamic and fulfilling. You won't just be in the office; you might find yourself:
* Walking or biking the beautiful Pennine trails
* Catching the latest films at the cinema
* Thrill-seeking at theme parks
Your main duties will include:
* Promoting, safeguarding, and protecting the welfare of our young people
* Building positive and trusting relationships
* Encouraging the development of individual interests
* A willingness to learn, with full training provided to achieve a Childcare Diploma Level 3/Apprenticeship Level 4
What We’re Looking For
To thrive in this role, you should have:
* Experience supporting vulnerable young people (desired but not essential)
* A commitment to the role, including availability on weekends and bank holidays
* Willingness to undertake sleep-in duties as part of a flexible rota
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Strong interpersonal skills and a positive attitude
* A genuine desire to engage, motivate, and encourage our young people
