Role Purpose
To manage, validate, and optimise supplier rebates and commercial income streams, ensuring accuracy, compliance with contractual terms, and timely recovery of all due revenue.
Key Responsibilities
1. Rebate Management
2. Track and calculate supplier rebates in line with contractual agreements
3. Maintain a centralised rebate tracker across all suppliers and business units
4. Ensure all rebate opportunities are captured and maximised
5. Validation & Reconciliation
6. Reconcile supplier statements against internal data (spend, volume, pricing)
7. Identify discrepancies and challenge suppliers where required
8. Ensure accurate accruals and recovery of income
9. Contract & Commercial Support
10. Review supplier contracts to extract rebate terms and conditions
11. Support procurement teams in structuring commercially beneficial agreements
12. Ensure rebate mechanisms are clearly defined and enforceable
13. Stakeholder Management
14. Work closely with Procurement, Finance, and Operations teams
15. Provide regular reporting on rebate performance and recovery status
16. Support senior stakeholders with insights on supplier income
17. Reporting & Analysis
18. Produce monthly reports on:
19. Rebates earned vs received
20. Outstanding claims
21. Forecasted income
22. Identify trends and opportunities for improvement
23. Process Improvement & Governance
24. Develop and standardise rebate tracking processes
25. Ensure audit-ready documentation and compliance
26. Reduce revenue leakage through improved controls
Key Skills & Experience
27. Strong analytical and reconciliation skills
28. Experience in commercial finance, procurement, or supplier management
29. Ability to interpret contracts and commercial terms
30. High attention to detail and accuracy
31. Strong Excel / data analysis capability
32. Confident stakeholder management and ability to challenge suppliers
Desirable
33. Experience with rebate/income tracking in FM or procurement environments
34. Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
35. Understanding of ESG-linked rebates or sustainability incentives
Success Measures
36. % of rebates recovered vs contracted
37. Reduction in missed or unclaimed rebates
38. Accuracy of reporting and accruals
39. Timeliness of claims and reconciliations
