Job Description
3. Develop and implement category strategies to optimise procurement processes.
4. Business/Corporate Services categrories of spend.
5. Conduct market analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and supplier innovations.
6. Manage supplier relationships to ensure high-quality service delivery and compliance.
7. Lead tendering processes, negotiate contracts, and ensure favourable terms.
8. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align procurement strategies with business objectives.
9. Monitor supplier performance using key metrics and address any performance issues.
10. Ensure adherence to procurement policies, standards, and ethical practices.
11. Provide insights and recommendations to enhance procurement efficiency.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Category Manager should have:
12. Strong experience in procurement and supply chain management within the professional services industry.
13. A proven track record of developing and executing category strategies.
14. Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
15. Familiarity with tendering processes and contract management principles.
16. Proficiency in analysing market trends and supplier performance data.
17. A relevant qualification in procurement, supply chain, or a related field is preferred.
