Job Description
Provides advanced administrative and computer support to Director and/or Assistant Director and their departments.
* Initiate and follow-up on action items for new and/or routine projects, processes, and/or policies. Coordinates with other departments and/or external sources.
* Generates department correspondence and/or reports. Uses appropriate computer programs to analyze, compile, update and maintain department correspondence and/or reports. Disseminates data/information to the appropriate parties. Prepares expense reports. May create presentations and/or corresponding materials.
* Screens/prioritizes/directs incoming calls and mail/correspondence, taking appropriate actions as necessary.
* May maintain executive(s)’ and corresponding department’s calendars, coordinate meetings, and/or set appointments.
* Provides administrative support, direction, guidance, and/or training to department. Serves as a liaison with other departments in acquiring and maintaining technology, supplies, onboarding, work space coordination, sourcing and other logistical needs through standard procedures.
* Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
