Shifts: Days (Mon-Thurs 8:00-16:30; Friday 7:00-12:30)

The role
You\'ll be setting and operating CNC lathes - producing quality components to drawing. You\'ll be trusted to modify programmes, manage tool changes and offsets, and take ownership of your own quality checks. It\'s hands-on, varied work in a facility that invests in doing things properly.
What You'll Be Doing
* Set and operate CNC lathes across a range of materials and tolerances
* Modify programmes and carry out tool changes and offsets
* Read and interpret engineering drawings and route cards
* Conduct first-off inspections and ongoing quality checks
* Contribute to TPM, 6S, SMED and lean activities on the shop floor
* Maintain accurate production records, labels, and logs
* Highlight improvement opportunities and work collaboratively with the team
Essential
What you\'ll bring
* Proven experience setting and operating CNC lathes
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
* Experience working in a production or quality-focused manufacturing environment
* Comfortable carrying out tool changes, offsets, and first-off checks
