Level 3 Early Years Teaching Assistant / Nursery Practitioner Location: St Helens, WA11 Contract: Day‑to‑Day / Flexible Supply Start Date: ASAP Pay Rate: £14.25 – £17.66 per hour (dependent on experience) We are currently recruiting Level 3 qualified Early Years professionals to support a friendly and welcoming Primary School in the WA11 area of St Helens. This role is ideal for a passionate Early Years Teaching Assistant / Nursery Practitioner who enjoys flexible, day‑to‑day work and making a real difference during the most important stages of a child’s development. You’ll be working within EYFS classes (Nursery and Reception), supporting children through high‑quality learning, play, and care experiences within a school setting. The Role As a Level 3 Early Years Teaching Assistant / Nursery Practitioner, you will: Provide high‑quality day‑to‑day support within EYFS classes in a primary school Support children aged 3–5 through engaging, play‑based and structured learning Deliver and support activities in line with the EYFS framework Assist with daily routines, transitions, and personal care where required Encourage pupils’ social, emotional, and early academic development Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment Work closely with class teachers, EYFS leads, and the wider school team Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents Every placement offers variety and valuable experience, while remaining within a consistent primary school environment.
