NHS 111 Health Advisor Part Time Nights – Milton Keynes
We are looking for highly motivated individuals to support callers during night shifts at NHS 111. This part‑time role requires strong communication skills and emotional resilience.
Key Responsibilities
* Handle a wide variety of emergency calls, providing accurate information and reassurance.
* Support callers experiencing mental health crises, minor injuries, infections, or serious emergencies such as strokes or heart attacks.
* Use NHS 111 computerised systems to record details and access patient information.
* Maintain professional standards while working rotating night shifts.
Qualifications & Experience
* Good GCSE education (2 GCSEs at grade 4 or above, including English) or equivalent experience.
* Experience in a customer or patient‑services environment.
* Previous call‑centre or telephone communication experience preferred.
* Knowledge of first aid and/or anatomy (desirable).
* NVQ 2/3 Customer Service or equivalent (desirable).
* Must be over 18 and able to work rotating shifts.
Salary & Working Hours
* Hourly rate: £12.79 per hour (part‑time).
* Night shift premium: 35% for midnight‑to‑midnight and 69% for night shift on Sundays & public holidays.
* Pro‑rated annual salary: £24,937 – £26,598 depending on hours.
* Part‑time permanent contract.
