Job Summary
The Pharmacy Dispenser plays a vital role in the healthcare team, responsible for preparing and dispensing medications to patients under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Duties
* Accurately prepare and dispense prescriptions as per the pharmacist's instructions.
* Maintain an organised inventory of medications and supplies, ensuring proper storage conditions.
* Assist in the administration of medications as required, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
* Provide excellent patient care by answering queries regarding medications and health-related concerns.
* Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimise patient outcomes and medication management.
* Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and pharmacy policies.
* Maintain accurate records of prescriptions dispensed and medication administration.
Skills
* Proven experience as a pharmacy technician is highly desirable.
* Strong knowledge of medication administration practices and protocols.
