Do you want to help keep vital Adult Social Care and Health services running — whatever happens — by leading resilience, business continuity and emergency planning across East Sussex?
As Resilience Manager, you’ll be pivotal in planning for and assuring the continued delivery of ASCH services in any circumstances. You’ll lead on departmental risk management, business continuity and emergency planning—providing expert guidance, coordinating responses to major incidents, and developing training and plans that meet statutory duties, regulatory requirements and County Council policies.
Core Responsibilities
* Lead resilience, business continuity and emergency planning across East Sussex.
* Develop and maintain departmental risk management plans and procedures.
* Coordinate responses to major incidents and unforeseen changes.
* Deliver training programmes on resilience and related topics.
* Ensure compliance with statutory duties, regulatory requirements and County Council policies.
Qualifications & Experience
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present complex information.
* Effective communication, negotiation and influencing skills.
* Experience planning and managing responses to incidents and unexpected change.
* Experience developing and leading resilience (or related) training programmes.
* Commitment to equality, inclusion, and personal and professional development.

Salary
Your starting salary will be pro‑rata if the position is part‑time or term‑time only.
