As we look for a new Head of Commercial Litigation and Insolvency, we are searching for a qualified Solicitor with PQE, who we will be looking to run their own case load of commercial litigation and Insolvency files alongside managing a department of commercial litigation fee earners and paralegals. We are looking for someone who is striving for progression and that takes pride in winning, developing, and managing key client relationships as well as mentoring and aiding the progression of junior members of the department.
This role is based in our Carter Lane office in London, with contractual hours of 9am-5pm, Monday to Friday.
Please note, we can look at offering hybrid working, once a successful 6 month probation period has been passed. Until then, the role will be office based to ensure sufficient training and support is provided to you.
This role involved but is not limited to:
* Developing, implementing and reviewing a department strategy to support and deliver our company strategy.
* Investigating and pursuing claims arising from business and personal failures, such as misfeasance, transactions at an undervalue, preferential payments, and wrongful or fraudulent trading.
* Continually improving systems and processes to increase efficiency, improve customer experience and reduce risk.
* Ensuring technical competence through adequate training, support and succession planning.
* Managing recovery of cash and aged debtors.
Requirements:
* Qualified solicitor with PQE.
* Previous contentious insolvency experience with ability to run own caseload.
* Strong leadership and relationship building skills.
* Experience of managing a department.
* Ability to lead and develop a Team.
* Proven track record of external networking, demonstrating the ability to increase workflow for a team.
