What you will do
* Lead the operational management of the Independent Domestic Violence Advisory Service (IDVA).
* Coordinate Adult Social Care’s involvement in MARAC and MAPPA processes across Manchester.
* Support the development and implementation of domestic abuse and safeguarding policies.
* Identify emerging risks and safeguarding trends within communities.
* Work closely with voluntary sector organisations supporting survivors of domestic abuse.
* Support Domestic Homicide Reviews, ensuring learning is shared across Adult Social Care services.
* Provide professional advice and safeguarding guidance to colleagues across services.
Requirements
* Qualified Social Worker with relevant professional qualification.
* Registration with Social Work England.
* Experience within Adult Safeguarding and Domestic Abuse services.
* Strong knowledge of MARAC and MAPPA processes.
* Enhanced DBS clearance.
