We are seeking a passionate and proactive Volunteer Recruiter to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, attracting, and engaging potential volunteers to support our mission. You will utilise various recruitment strategies, including social media management and lead generation, to build a strong volunteer base. The ideal candidate will have a background in human resources or sales, with excellent communication skills and the ability to manage relationships effectively.
Responsibilities
* Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract volunteers.
* Utilise social media platforms to promote volunteer opportunities and engage with potential candidates.
* Conduct outreach activities to generate leads for volunteer recruitment.
* Maintain accurate records of volunteer applications using HRIS or ATS systems.
* Screen and interview potential volunteers to assess their suitability for various roles.
* Foster relationships with community organisations and other stakeholders to enhance recruitment efforts.
* Collaborate with team members to organise volunteer orientation and training sessions.
* Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of recruitment strategies, making adjustments as necessary.
Experience
* Previous experience in human resources or a related field is preferred.
* Familiarity with HRIS systems such as Workday, Taleo, or Salesforce is advantageous.
* Proven ability in lead generation and relationship management.
* Strong understanding of social media management and its role in recruitment.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
* Experience working with volunteers or in a non-profit environment is a plus.
