Laboratory Analysts require a good mix of skills. The person will be responsible for ensuring procedures are followed to effectively and accurately test samples, and record results in line with company targets.The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a meticulous and methodical approach to tasks.This role would be a great starting point for somebody looking to begin their career in Environmental Sciences!Do you have the skills required, if so, please read on!RoleHours Per Week: 37Days Per Week: Wednesday to Sunday (08:00 - 16:00)Contract: Full Time and PermanentAnnual Salary: £25,878Hiring Manager: Sarah AkponasaClosing Date: Friday 5th June 2026The Day to DayUnderstand customer requirements.Ensure samples are completed efficiently and effectively following all process, procedures, and legislation.Deliver on key performance indicators.Report and understand analytical data.Participate in the Taste and Odour panel on a rotational basis following screening.Assist team members to achieve work objectives.Proactively ensure compliance with Health and Safety policies and proceduresThe EssentialsScientific Qualifications required are a minimum of five GCSEs at Grade C (equivalent to the new Grade 4) or above and an A level, or equivalent qualification.
