RUGBY COACH (FTC for two academic terms)
Claremont is seeking an enthusiastic Rugby Coach to join our dynamic sports department for the Autumn and Spring terms.

The Role
We are looking for a skilled and motivated coach to:
1. Assist and lead in the coaching and management of rugby across all age groups
2. Plan and deliver engaging training sessions
3. Lead school teams in fixtures, including after-school and Saturday morning matches
4. Support pupils of all abilities to develop their skills and confidence
5. Play an active role in the wider life of our sports department
The ideal candidate will have:
6. Successful rugby playing experience
7. A minimum Level 2 Coaching Qualification (or above)
8. Previous coaching experience at school or club level
9. A passion for sport and a commitment to player development
10. Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills
11. Energy, enthusiasm, and the ability to inspire confidence
Hours:
This is a part-time position (18 hours per week) for the Autumn and Spring terms (01 September 2025 – 25 March 2026)
Actual hours are 2:00pm – 5:30pm across four weekdays plus four hours on Saturday mornings for fixtures.
The rate of pay is £16-£18 per hour depending on skills and experience
