Working inpartnership with Brentford FC the Trust offers a portfolio ofprogrammes in education health sports participation and communityengagement. The Trust has won the Football League Community Club ofthe Year award four times and now employs more than 100 members ofstaff. The Trust is forecasting further significant expansion overthe next two years following its appointment as a key partner inthe redevelopment of Gunnersbury Park as a sports hub and its moveto new larger purposebuilt premises directly adjacent to the newBrentford FC 17500 capacity stadium near Kew Bridge in2021.

The Youth andEmployability department provides informal learning and engagementopportunities for young people to build and develop essential lifeskills to support their transition to adulthood engagement in theirlocal community and employability skills for the world ofwork.
We believe in highquality provision thatmakes a difference in young peoples lives; we offer a variety ofpersonal social and educational opportunities for young people toengage in both group and 1:1 sessions. Our work includesresidentials weekly groups short courses/projects PSHEstyleactivities holiday programmes training opportunities volunteering& social action workready programmes and industrydays.
We work closely with key stakeholders suchas schools charities local authorities and national services toboth gain access to young people as well as give young peopledifferent networks opportunities andexperiences.

Purpose of therole
The Youth EngagementFacilitator will worker across our programmes leading andsupporting in in recruitment events and promotional activities andfacilitating personal development and skill based workshops. TheNCS Youth Engagement Facilitator will work with the Manager andCoordinators to deliver schoolbased activities events and youthgroup sessions.
The NCS Youth EngagementFacilitator will need to be able to build strong relationships withyoung people and deliver innovative and creative sessions. Theywill provide engaging activities deliver inclusive curriculumsessions on life skills and employability topics and support youngpeople in campaigning volunteering and developing social actionprojects
The role is suitable for a dynamic andconfident person with experience of leading groups of young peoplebeing able to motivate support and guide them as they take part inour programmes.
MainResponsibilities
Deliverpresentations and other agreed recruitment events (e.g. assembliesPSHE lessons lunchtime/event stands) to secondary schoolsnonmainstream schools colleges and other allocated organisations
Support delivery of Youth Group sessions.Support young people to engage develop new skills and be active inthe local community.
Deliver and facilitatebespoke personal and skill development sessions within allocatedschools for year 10 13.
Lead inspire andmotivate young people through the Programmes and activities. Ensurethat the pastoral care and safety needs of the young people are metat all times.
Engage and build positiverelationships with young people to provide effective support on aonetoone & group basis using coaching and mentoringtechniques when needed.
Encourage thedevelopment of teamwork leadership social development and communitysocial action skills. Support young people to reflect on their ownexperience and share this with others.
Planadapt and deliver assigned curriculum sessions which includereflective learning facilitating workshops and youthled sessions.Ensure all activities and sessions are adaptable to include andmeet the needs of all young people.
Supportyoung people with challenging behaviour and ensure the code ofconduct is upheld.
Ensure all policies andprocedures and administration tasks are completed accurately andwithin allocated time scales including handling personal datasafeguarding reporting and risk assessments
Work closely with the team wider Brentford FCCST team schools and delivery partners to support the young peopleon our programmes.
Work with other Trust staffand departments to deliver engaging and fulfilling activities foryoung people.
Attend regular supervisionsessions and compulsory training to enable all duties to be carriedout effectively
Support youth volunteers youngleaders and assistant youth workers to work positively with youngpeople and follow Trust policies and procedures.
Work closely with the Manager CoordinatorsYouth Workers Coaches and community partners to support the youngpeople on sessions.
Attend regular supervisionsessions and compulsory training to enable all duties to be carriedout effectively.
Any other reasonable duties andresponsibilities considered appropriate by the SeniorManager
Work flexible hours including regularevenings and weekends when require.

Essential:
Qualifications andexperience
Demonstrable experience (eitherin a voluntary or paid capacity) of working with young people(particularly 1517year olds) and an understanding of the currentchallenges they face.
Experience of leadingplanning and delivering inspiring motivating and engagingactivities for individuals and groups of young people in acommunity education/ and or outdoor setting.
ASafeguarding and First Aid qualification or willingness to completetraining.Skills Knowledge andability
