The Role As Key Account Manager – DIY, you will take ownership of key national retail accounts, developing long-term partnerships and driving commercial performance across both in-store and online channels. You will lead account strategy from planning through to execution, working closely with internal teams and external partners to deliver growth, optimise product ranges, and maximise visibility. This is a highly visible role with real ownership, where you will directly influence business performance and customer success. Key Responsibilities Manage and develop relationships with major DIY retail partners, including key decision-makers Own and execute strategic account plans aligned with business objectives Identify growth opportunities and lead commercial negotiations Manage product assortments across physical stores and digital platforms Analyse sales performance (sell-in / sell-out) and optimise product ranges Lead forecasting, promotional planning, and annual account cycles Negotiate trading agreements, pricing, and promotional activity Drive online visibility through strong content, campaigns, and digital strategy Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Supply Chain teams Coordinate with supply chain to ensure smooth order flow and product availability Act as a brand ambassador in all customer interactions About You You are a commercially focused account manager who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment and enjoys taking ownership of key relationships.
