We are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for a GPhC-registered Band 5 Pharmacy Technician to join the Aberdeen City HSCP Hospital @ Home (H@H) team, based at Woodend Hospital.
About the Service
Hospital @ Home delivers acute, hospital-level medical care to patients in their own homes, operating 7 days a week from 8am to 8pm. This post is for 28.5 hours per week, ideally worked across three shifts of 8am6pm (although this may be flexible)
The Role
As part of a dynamic multi-disciplinary team, you will work alongside Consultants, GPs, Advanced Practitioners, Nurses, Health Care Support Workers, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, as well as pharmacy colleagues (technicians & pharmacist). You will play a key role in supporting patients (either remotely or in their homes) and the wider H@H team in all aspects of medication management.
What We Are Looking For
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic team member, educated to BTEC or S/NVQ Level 3 in Pharmacy Services and National Certificate (NC) or equivalent. You must be confident in delivering high-quality pharmaceutical care in a fast-paced, patient-centred environment.
Essential Requirements
GPhC registration as a Pharmacy Technician
Relevant qualifications (BTEC/SNVQ Level 3 and NC or equivalent)
Ability and willingness to travel across Aberdeen City and Aberdeenshire
Access to a Low Emission Zone-compliant vehicle for work purposes
A full UK driving licence
