Tier 1 Main Contractor - Cambridgeshire
A Tier 1 Main Contractor is seeking an Engineer to join their team in the Cambridgeshire region. This is a great opportunity to work with a leading business on multiple new-build projects, supporting delivery and ensuring quality across the board.
Role
This is not a traditional setting-out heavy role, as subcontractors carry out much of the day-to-day engineering. Instead, you'll be providing oversight and assurance, ensuring quality and compliance across projects.
Responsibilities
* Setting out key gridlines when required
* Conducting spot checks on subcontractor work
* Overseeing test plans and ensuring compliance with specifications
* Supporting QA and documentation processes
* Providing technical guidance to project teams
Requirements
* Previous experience as an Engineer on construction projects
* Strong knowledge of QA, compliance, and setting out
* Ability to work across multiple sites within Cambridgeshire
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Main contractor experience preferred
