About the Role
We are looking for a compassionate, enthusiastic, and dedicated Life Practitioner to join our team. As a Life Practitioner you will provide essential support to individuals with severe learning disabilities and complex needs, assisting them with daily activities and accompanying them on community trips. You will also be responsible for driving a company vehicle to transport people to community activities such as shopping, meals, appointments, and outings. To drive, you must have a full UK driver’s licence or have been driving in the UK for 2 years or more. Starting rates are £12.71 for Level 1, £13.10 for Level 2, and £13.60 for Level 3, with opportunities to increase hourly rates through our competency framework.
Responsibilities
Providing support to individuals with severe learning disabilities and complex needs.
Assisting with daily living activities.
Accompanying individuals on community trips.
Driving the company vehicle as required.
Qualifications
* Full UK driver’s licence or 2+ years driving experience in the UK.
* Genuine passion for care and motivated to contribute to the progression of others.
* A strong team player.
* Resilience and confidence to ask for support as needed.
* Excellent written and oral communication skills.
* Computer literacy.
* Level 3 in Health & Social Care or willingness to work towards it.
* All roles are subject to an enhanced DBS check.
