Primary Teaching Assistant

• Location: Exeter, Devon (Accessible via public transport)
• Salary: £92.56 - £95.00 per day (Paid weekly)
• Hours: 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM (Monday - Friday, Term-Time only)
• Contract: Full-Time / Part-Time options available

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting the classroom teacher with daily lesson setups and activities.
• Working 1:1 or in small groups with pupils to support reading, writing, and numeracy.
• Creating a positive, safe, and engaging environment for young learners.
• Helping to manage classroom behaviour and supporting children during break times.

What We Are Looking For:

• Essential: Experience working with children (e.g., schools, nurseries, youth clubs, sports coaching, or volunteering).
• A patient, resilient, and encouraging personality.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• An enhanced DBS on the update service (or the willingness to apply for one).
