Administrator - Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service - Cookstown Join Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service in Cookstown as an Administrator and support the delivery of efficient administrative services within a busy public sector team. About the role: £16.68 per hour NIFRS Learning & Development Centre, Cookstown Monday to Friday 36.25 hours a week Temporary (up to 6 months with a possible extension) Deadline for receipt of completed applications is Thursday 26th February 2026. Duties include: To work with the HR Advisor, Learning & Development Business Support towards the effective and efficient delivery and implementation of all Learning & Development (L&D) interventions, to support NIFRS’ organisational need. To work in partnership with the L&D Team, Departmental Heads, Subject Matter Experts (SME), Course Directors, Faculty Instructors and other relevant staff to design, create and produce professional L&D course materials and relevant supporting documentation. To provide guidance, support & training for L&D activities and the application of L&D Policies and Procedures To work with subject matter experts in reviewing training materials and to support the development of new materials in line with National Operational Guidance/ National Occupational Standards and other legislative requirements. Finding innovative ways to translate these ideas into the LMS system. To act as a first point of contact for all internal and external enquiries relating to operational Learning & Development support and ensure necessary communication is maintained with the Area Commander, Senior Managers and other professionals. To provide a high level of customer service to internal and external contacts through effective and professional communication, taking ownership of customer queries, complaints and issues, from the start through to completion. Responsible for ensuring data held within LMS is accurate and up to date.Managing the security and use of training records in line with GDPR regulations. What you'll need for this role: Possess at least 5 GCSEs at Grade C or above, or equivalent, to include English and Maths AND Have at least 5 years’ experience of working in a L&D / admin role. OR possess a HNC-level qualification in a relevant subject (e.g. business administration, IT, multimedia) AND have at least 2 years of experience working in a L&D / Admin role. Have experience in interpreting data and producing reports on leaning management information. Possess a full, current UK driving licence Category B which enables the postholder to fulfil the full requirements of the role. Riada Resourcing is an equal opportunities employer.
