About the role
The Role
The Role:
Our nationwide Non Mechanical division hires a range of equipment including crowd control barriers, scaffolding, and road plates to the events industry alongside our more traditional business sectors within the construction, utilities, and infrastructure sectors.
As a General Manager at GAP, you will manage your own Profit Centre and influence all aspects of Depot Operations – from staff recruitment and motivation to purchasing equipment and supplies.
You will be an experienced Manager seeking a new and exciting challenge, capable of leading your team to perform at their best. With a deep understanding of our business, you will generate new ideas to drive your depot forward and excel in customer interaction.
About You
Successful applicants should demonstrate the following:
• Previous operational management experience
• Experience within Non Mechanical sectors is preferred but not essential
• Drive and motivation to deliver tangible results
• A full UK driving licence
• A high level of IT literacy, particularly in Word and Excel
