We are partnering with a growing, operationally focused organisation to appoint a hands‑on Procurement Manager based in Milton Keynes. We are looking for a commercially sharp buyer who can improve how the business buys, challenge existing supplier arrangements, and take full control of procurement and stock across a multi-site operation. You will lead a small team, drive better buying decisions, tighten stock controls and deliver tangible cost efficiencies, all while ensuring service levels remain high.

Key Responsibilities
* Developing and implementing a smarter, more commercially focused procurement strategy
* Negotiating improved supplier terms and driving measurable cost savings
* Overseeing end‑to‑end stock management and improving accuracy across service centres
* Implementing stronger stock controls, safety stock levels and replenishment processes
* Monitoring supplier performance and leading regular review meetings
* Ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory and governance standards
* Partnering with finance to track spend, savings and stock value
* Managing and developing a team
* Tighten processes and make a visible impact
Key Requirements
* A strong, commercially minded buyer with proven negotiation experience
* Demonstrable track record of improving purchasing outcomes and delivering savings
* Solid stock management and inventory control experience
* Confident stakeholder manager who can influence operational teams
* Previous leadership experience managing a small team
* Comfortable working in a fully office‑based environment
