Role Purpose To manage and optimize the collection, transportation, and processing of recyclable materials, ensuring efficient logistics operations in line with environmental regulations, cost-efficiency, and sustainability targets.
Key Responsibilities · Oversee the end-to-end logistics for the recycling transactions (skips, roros, aggregate bags ) · Oversee planning and optimize routes and schedules to ensure timely collection and delivery.
1. · Coordinate with waste collection teams, recycling centres and third-party haulers.
2. · Monitor and analyse logistics performance using KPIs; recommend and implement improvements.
3. · Ensure compliance with all environmental and transport regulations.
4. · Supervise and train logistics staff; ensure a safe working environment Key Competencies · Strong knowledge of logistics, supply chain, and recycling operations.
5. · Excellent planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
6. · Strong communication and leadership abilities.
7. · Analytical mindset with the ability to work with logistics software and data.
8. · Attention to detail and commitment to environmental compliance.
