Job Description
Based at Kirriemuir Road, Forfar, Angus.
This job is workstyle 1 - Fixed.
In this workstyle most of your time is spent undertaking the direct delivery of front-line services work. Depending on your role there may be a limited requirement to access a specific council location during the course of the working week if you are not delivering your service at a council location.
As a member of our supply driver register, you will drive a council mini-bus, ensuring it is kept in a clean and serviceable condition. You may also be required to undertake caretaking duties at the driver’s base.
Hours are worked on a supply basis - as and when required.
The hourly rate includes payment for holidays. This is paid as a percentage of your hourly rate for the job and will be separately itemised on your pay slip. Successful applicants will be placed on our casual worker register and engaged to work as and when required depending on service need.
Supply staff are paid one month in arrears, e.g. hours worked in June are paid on the last working day of July.
