Coordinate and expedite the flow of materials according to production schedules (within Internal Manufacturing departments and (limited) from external Suppliers (limited).
Plan and schedule material / production needs. Impacts quality of own work and the work of others on the team. Refine, Define and help the team to executes standard operational / technical tasks typically subject to instructions and work routines. There is latitude to rearrange the sequence to complete task/duties based on changing work situations.
Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities:
* Manage SAP master planning (factory wise) in terms of Production Planning, processes and systems, prepare and update production schedules and coordinate the weekly MPS Capacity needsversus available.
* Good knowledge of S&OP.
* Forecast review and analysis, monitor and recommend actions to maintain key business objectives.
* Ensure operational alignment with production plan and KPIs.
* Contribute as team member in the optimization of inventory (raw material, WIP and FG) and process improvements.
* Good understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work.
* Good understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area.
* Autonomy to make decisions within a defined framework. Resolves issues in situations that require good technical knowledge and judgment within established procedures.
* Consults more senior team members for issues outside of defined instructions/parameters.
* Project based Interaction with Suppliers for Improvement activities ( on time delivery, logistics, communication, Inventory)
* Excellent interpersonal skills and may be required to lead within a team. Explains technical information to others.
Required Qualifications:
* This role requires relevant experience in the Manufacturing & Materials Planning and Execution.
* Knowledge level is comparable to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college certification with relevant experience.
* Relevant experience in ERP system, strong SAP knowledge.
* Proficiency in MS Office.
Desired Characteristics:
* Advanced oral and written communication skills.
* Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
* Knowledge of Smartsheets.
