This positionis responsible forassistingin the operation ofdepartment. An individual in this position will be expected to performadditionaljob-related responsibilities and duties throughout the facility as assigned and/or asnecessary.
ESSENTIALFUNCTIONS:
* Design building automation systems forbuildings of varioususewith the assistance of senior engineers.
* Participate in sales turnover meetings to receive project mechanical drawings, specifications, and details from the salesteam.
* Applytheappropriateequipmentandenddevicestoprovidethemostcost-effectivesolutiontomeettheproject specifications.
* Supportthepreparationofacompleteengineeringpackageofallrequirednetworkdiagrams,point-to-point wiring diagrams, control panel layouts, flow diagrams, valve and damper schedules, bill of material, and equipmentsubmittalsforapprovalbytheclientengineeringfirmanddeliverytotheinstallationteam.
* Assist Project Manager(s) in orderingprojects’requiredproductsandequipment.
* Visit sites asrequiredfor field engineering building automation retrofits and upgrades or new construction quality controlinspections.
* Ensure regulatorycomplianceacrossarangeoffederal,state,andlocalagencies.
* Supportaculturebasedonopen/honestdialogueandinvolvementwithallteammembersthatdemonstratesthevalueoftheirinputandengagementinimprovingperformance.
* Support a culture of high performance and accountability in employee and site safety as well as other aspects of thebusiness.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED:
* Equivalent experience,or aBachelorsof Sciencein electrical engineering, mechanicalengineering,computertechnology,airconditioningorsimilarfieldispreferred.
* KnowledgeandunderstandingofindustrialHVACapplications,abilitytoreadandunderstandMEPdrawingsand specifications ispreferred.
* Proficiencyin Microsoft Officerequired.
* Commitmenttoour“opendoor”policyandregularcontactwithallfieldemployees.
* Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonalskills;high qualitydocumentandreportpreparation.
* Experience working in an entrepreneurial environment,requiring strong multi-taskingabilities.

PHYSICALACTIVITIES:
Whileperformingthedutiesofthisjob,theemployeeisregularlyrequiredtostandandtalk or hear. The employeefrequentlyis required towalk, use hands and arms to handle,feeland reach, push, pull bend and twist. The employeeis occasionally required tosit, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl through narrow,enclosedor elevated spaces; move up and down stairs. Visually inspect andlocateequipment and products. Read information, often in small print. Enter andlocateinformation on a computer system or communication device. Write documents, reports etc. using a writing instrument (e.g., pencil, pen) or computer. Theemployeewilloccasionallyliftand/ormoveupto25pounds.
WORKINGCONDITIONS:
Thispositionisinanofficeenvironmentwithmoderatetolownoiselevelsandistypically sedentary.Whileperformingthedutiesofthisjob,theemployeeisoccasionallyexposedtovaryingtemperatures, work areas that may be slippery and or wet, near equipment and mechanical moving parts.Work indoors for extendedperiodsoftime.LocaltravelrequiredwithOccasionaltraveltootherAlbireosites.Occasionalwork overnight,weekends,androtating/varyingshifts.Thisisanofficepositionwithavailabilityofsomeremotework.
Salary Range DOE:
$73,000-100,000 USD
