About the Role A leading manufacturing organisation is seeking an experienced MRP Controller to support increased workload across its production planning and logistics functions. This role is critical to ensuring the timely and cost-effective delivery of manufacturing schedules and customer programmes. You will be responsible for managing and coordinating all planning-related activities to deliver the Master Production Schedule (MPS), ensuring material availability, inventory accuracy, and effective communication across supply chain functions. Key Responsibilities Execute and manage planning and procurement activities to support MPS delivery. Release, manage, and schedule work orders in the MRP system. Maintain accurate delivery forecasts and communicate updates to stakeholders. Monitor and optimise inventory levels, minimising waste and costs. Conduct regular stock checks to ensure MRP system accuracy. Collaborate with supply planners to resolve constraints and communicate plan changes. Escalate risks related to supplied parts within the sales and operations process. Liaise with logistics teams (Goods Receiving, Stores, Despatch) to ensure smooth inventory transactions. Support non-conformance management and maintain manufacturing bill of materials. Drive schedule adherence and delivery KPIs through effective planning. Skills & Experience Proven experience in production planning, logistics, or supply chain management. Strong working knowledge of SAP and MRP systems. Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools. Excellent planning, organising, and communication skills. Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
