We are looking for a chef to join our team as a Kitchen Trainer! Our Kitchen Trainers are responsible, alongside the Kitchen Person in Charge, for overseeing the kitchen team, coaching and mentoring them in their daily tasks, ensuring they work efficiently; serving perfectly presented food for guests, maintaining optimal stock levels of ingredients and prepared food items; and ensuring due diligence and compliance with all relevant health and safety and food safety legislation.

About The Role Of Kitchen Trainer
As a rodizio restaurant our back of house is split into two; the kitchen and the grill. Our meats are prepared and cooked in the grill section, whilst the self service Market Table, a la carte dishes, desserts and vegetarian options are created in the kitchen. As a Kitchen Trainer you will ensure our kitchen prepared dishes are cooked to the highest standards as well as acting as a role model for your team.
Responsibilities / What You Will Do
* Oversee the kitchen team and coach them in daily tasks to ensure efficiency and quality.
* Maintain stock levels of ingredients and prepared items, ensuring proper rotation and waste management.
* Ensure due diligence and compliance with health and safety and food safety legislation.
* Train and mentor team members to uphold high standards of service and presentation.
As Such, The Ideal Kitchen Trainer Will Possess
* A passion for preparing creative and attractively presented dishes
* A high level of product and food hygiene knowledge
* A clean-as-you-go approach and natural concern for cleanliness and hygiene
* A strong understanding of and belief in teamwork
* A proactive leadership style and good people skills, providing ongoing feedback to your team to coach them to be great chefs.
* Confidence in communicating with the team and with senior management, receiving instructions courteously and delegating appropriately

Salary
The advertised salary is made up of an hourly wage of £12.30 and anticipated tronc of £7.21 per hour.
