A well-regarded and inclusive primary school in Buckingham is seeking a creative and committed KS2 Teacher to join their team from January 2026. About the Role
As a KS2 Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering a broad and balanced curriculum that supports academic progress, builds confidence, and nurtures a lifelong love for learning.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and teach engaging, differentiated lessons across Key Stage 2
Deliver core subjects including English, Maths, and Science, alongside foundation subjects such as History, Geography, PE, Art, and DT
Create a positive, inclusive learning environment where all pupils feel safe, valued, and motivated to succeed
Use a range of formative and summative assessments to track pupil progress and inform planning
Provide constructive feedback that supports pupil development and encourages independence
Promote excellent behaviour for learning through strong classroom management and consistent routines
Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents to ensure the best outcomes for all learners
About You
We are looking for someone who is energetic, reflective, and genuinely passionate about teaching. Whether you’re an experienced educator or an ECT seeking your first post, we welcome your application.
You will need to demonstrate:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Recent experience teaching across Key Stage 2 (Years 3 to 6)
A thorough understanding of the KS2 curriculum and assessment strategies
Strong planning, organisational, and classroom management skills
The ability to differentiate effectively and meet the diverse needs of pupils
A nurturing and proactive approach to supporting pupils’ academic and personal development
