Role Overview
Hyper Recruitment Solutions have partnered with a Process Automation Manufacture based in Indiana who are seeking a Field Service Engineer to joining their expanding team of 14!
The Field Service Engineer is responsible in assisting customers with installing & maintaining DCS Systems. Implementing hardware & software upgrades, & providing all relevant documentation.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Your duties as the Field Service Engineer will be varied however the key duties & responsibilities are as follows:
1. As the Field Service Engineer you need to have the ability to troubleshoot & problem solve. Working knowledge of Windows Operating System Installation & configuration, Networking & Cyber-security.
2. You will be installing & supporting hardware including PCs, Windows Servers, Firewalls, Monitoring Tools also as well as DeltaV Systems (Full Training Providing)
3. Designing infrastructure for client sites, sets ups, upgrades, repair support & working alongside control engineers to ensure hardware installed can run their automation software.
4. Providing technical support on-site & remotely to diagnosed systems & equipment. Alongside maintaining, configurating & upgrading systems.
5. Travelling to client sites across Indiana, as well as remote & office based.
Role Requirements
To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Field Service Engineer we are looking to identify the following on your profile & past history:
1. Experience with Virtualization Technology (Hyper-V or VMware), network communication, TCP/IP, Patch Management Applications (WSUS, Symantec, McAfee) ideally.
2. Someone who is passionate about software & engineering. Wants to grow & learn within a role.
3. Proficient in Windows operating systems - Ability to troubleshoot, configure & maintain systems.
4. Bachelor - Engineering (Software, Electrical, Mechanical etc)
