ROLE Reporting to the Finance Director you will work to ensure G&H | ITL achieves its financial budgets, forecast, and strategic growth targets. You will be responsible for preparing accounts, month-end reporting and be a key business partner to the Manufacturing and R&D functions. MANDATORY RESPONSIBILITIES Adherence to all Company policies, management systems and standard operational procedures, including legal responsibilities in relation to Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Provide Environmental commitment for site in order to maintain sustainability and progression to net zero. Working positively to develop and foster good working relationships with colleagues and contracted personnel in order to maintain a culture of mutual respect and dignity Promote and display the G&H values: Customer focus, Integrity, Action, Unity, Precision RESPONSIBILITIES Reporting to and supporting the Financial Controller to ensure continued success for G&H | ITL Ensure the complete, accurate and timely financial accounting and reporting for both UK & US sites Monthly reconciliation of balance sheet accounts Preparation of Tax Packs & RDEC submissions Reconciliation of inter-company accounts and completing quarterly VAT declarations Key finance support for world class R&D function Monthly completion of Sales and profitability analysis Implement financial systems to comply with any customer contracted financial reporting Collaborate with external auditors to provide requested information and explanations for smooth and efficient audits. Provide assistance with Accounts Payable / Receivable on an ad-hoc basis QUALIFICATIONS AAT Qualified, part-qualified ACCA/CIMA, preferred. Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES Dynamic attitude to problem solving Confident approach to challenging the status quo Good understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards Knowledge of UK direct and indirect tax.
