We are seeking a hands-on Reliability Engineer to lead our Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) team at our Thetford site.
Reporting to the Reliability & Planning Engineer, this role plays a key part in ensuring our assets run efficiently, reliably, and safely.

What Youll Be Doing Leading the execution of the sites 52-week PPM schedule.
Documenting all maintenance activity using our CMMS system and ensuring accurate parts usage.
Identifying reliability improvements, implementing approved changes, and contributing to continuous improvement.
Ensuring critical equipment is maintained to support uninterrupted production.
Upholding site safety, compliance, and engineering standards at all times.
What Were Looking For NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering and NVQ Level 2 in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
Minimum 3 years experience in engineering within a food manufacturing or similar regulated environment.
Proven experience leading or mentoring a small engineering team.
Strong knowledge of engineering best practices, including PPM, root cause analysis, and reliability-centred maintenance.
Familiarity with coating and frying equipment is advantageous.
Good communication skills, PC literacy (Excel, Word), and a methodical approach to documentation and safety.
