The SEND Team at Pate’s acts as a bridge between academic and pastoral care by supporting the early-identification and appropriate support for specific educational needs. Based in the Student Support Centre, at the heart of the school, the SEND Team co-ordinate individual support tailored to our student needs.
We have a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated and proactive Assistant SENDCo
– Administration to join our team at Pate’s Grammar School.
In this role you will support the SENDCo in the daily implementation of the SEND policy and the coordination of tailored support for pupils with special educational needs or disabilities.
You will ensure the smooth running of SEND at Pate’s through efficient administrative and
clerical support. Additionally, you will offer professional guidance to colleagues, fostering strong collaboration with staff, parents, and external agencies.
Central to the role is the commitment to modelling and promoting the school’s ethos of total inclusion, ensuring that every student is supported to reach their full potential.
Supporting your success in this role will be your excellent communication and administrative skills, along with your recent experience of working with children and families.
You will be a team player, with the drive, energy and enthusiasm to make a difference in the development of young peoples’ lives.
