As an HLTA in an SEN setting, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils with complex learning needs, helping to create a safe, nurturing and structured learning environment. You will work closely with teachers and multidisciplinary teams to deliver engaging lessons, support personalised learning plans, and promote both academic and emotional development. You may be required to lead whole-class sessions, cover lessons in the teacher's absence, and deliver targeted interventions tailored to individual pupil needs.
