Involve Recruitment are seeking an experienced Residential Quantity Surveyor to manage the commercial aspects of a large residential development in South Wales. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing construction team and take ownership of cost control, procurement, and commercial reporting on a high-profile housing project. Key Responsibilities: * Manage the commercial and contractual aspects of the residential scheme * Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and cash flow forecasts, ensuring accurate financial planning * Monitor project costs, variations, and commitments to maintain profitability * Raise and review valuations, progress claims, and invoices * Manage subcontractor procurement and contracts, including tender evaluation and negotiation * Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions and site documentation * Report regularly to the Project Manager on cost, programme, and risk * Support the site team with cost advice, risk management, and value engineering initiatives * Ensure compliance with company policies, procurement procedures, and contractual obligations Requirements / Qualifications: * Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor on residential schemes * Strong knowledge of construction costs, procurement, and contract management * Excellent numerical, organisational, and communication skills * Proficient in MS Office and construction management software * Ability to produce accurate reports and advise the project team on cost control * Degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying or equivalent; RICS accreditation desirable
