Overview
What skills and experience we're looking for
* Resilient staff willing to work and support our young adults to become as independent as possible
* Staff who are confident and competent to work with the young adults within school and also the local community
* To understand and be prepared for the physicality of the role
* GCSE or equivalent level, including at least a Grade 4 (previously Grade C) in English and maths – desirable
* First-aid training, or willingness to complete it
* Minibus test, or willingness to complete it
* NVQ Level 3
* Significant experience working with young adults with significant learning disabilities who can display extremely challenging behaviour. This can be in a school setting, residential setting or via social care setting.
