Key responsibilities
* Safely operate a 26-ton rigid vehicle with a mounted Moffett forklift
* Load and unload goods at various customer sites across the UK
* Conduct thorough daily vehicle checks and ensure all deliveries are compliant with health and safety standards
* Complete delivery paperwork, electronic PODs and digital logs accurately and promptly
* Maintain good communication with Contracts Manager and customers
* Stay overnight in the vehicle as per the weekly schedule (nights out required)
Essential Criteria
* Valid UK Class 2 (Category C) driving licence
* CPC qualification and digital tachograph card
* Moffett licence/certification (RTITB or equivalent)
* Previous experience in a similar role
* Flexibility to stay away from home during the working week
* Good communication skills and a professional attitude
