Responsibilities
* Protect the public and help to make a positive impact on people’s lives.
* Build constructive, positive and professional relationships with offenders who could be at the lowest point in their lives.
* Work as part of a team to keep the prison, offenders and staff safe.
* Work various shifts and weekends.
* Carry out many different roles in a single day (e.g., peacekeeper, counsellor, or teacher) and work directly with prisoners in a unique environment to protect the public and make a positive impact.
