Overview
Customer Service Representative role at Gems Setra. The position aims to exceed customer expectations with timely and complete support. You will be the front line contact point for customers and work as a bridge between internal teams and customers, providing pre- and post-sales support and advice on Gems Sensors and Setra Systems products.
Responsibilities
* Process customer orders quickly and accurately across product ranges (temperature controllers, level, flow and pressure sensors, and temperature monitoring devices).
* Ensure compliance requirements are met for all orders.
* Coordinate with Production and wider operations as needed.
* Prepare and check part numbers, pricing, and order documentation; issue and follow up quotations.
* Inform customers of actual delivery dates and adminis ter acknowledgements.
* Pass information from Production to the European Sales Team; work with a global team to expedite deliveries.
* Manage web orders for key customers; log and assist with customer complaints; liaise with QA on progress.
* Contribute to continuous improvement of Sales Operations and deliver professional customer service.
* Provide English and second language support to customers, distributors, subsidiaries, internal sales, and other departments.
* Assist sales teams in Europe and elsewhere to extend product support worldwide; handle sales telephone line and order entry.
* Provide backup support to internal teams and promote additional sales with timely advice to customers.
* Occasional on-site customer visits for support or to assist the sales team (UK, Europe or elsewhere).
* May be assigned additional projects at the discretion of the Line Manager.
Qualifications
* Written and verbal fluency in English; a second language (preferably French or German) is desirable.
* Experience handling customer inquiries via telephone and email; prior customer-facing sales/support experience.
* Experience using Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office; familiarity with SAP/ERP and Salesforce or another CRM is beneficial.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills; passion for continuous improvement.
* Ability to prioritize, solve problems, and work cross-functionally with a customer-focused mindset.
