Software Architect - Battery Management Systems (AUTOSAR)

Purpose of the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Software Architect to join our Battery Management System (BMS) development team. This role is focused on defining and evolving the software architecture for AUTOSAR Classic platforms in high-voltage automotive applications.
Key Responsibility Areas
* Define and evolve software architecture for AUTOSAR Classic BMS platforms.
* Analyse architectural trade-offs, performance, and safety implications using structured methods and simulation/analysis approaches.
* Ensure compliance with ASPICE, ISO 26262 and ISO 21434.
* Guide development and test teams in implementing robust, scalable solutions.
* Integrate safety and cybersecurity concepts into architectural design decisions.
* Collaborate with systems engineering, software development, and test teams to guide implementation in line with the approved architecture.
* Conduct design reviews, identify risks, and support technical problem solving throughout the development lifecycle.
Qualifications And Experience
* Proven experience in automotive software architecture and embedded systems.
* Strong knowledge of AUTOSAR Classic (SWCs, RTE, BSW).
* Hands-on experience with ASPICE, functional safety and cybersecurity.
* Skilled in architecture analysis, modelling, and communication of technical decisions.
* Background in BMS or other safety-critical ECUs desirable.
* Strong communication skills to present and defend architectural decisions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
