About the Job The Junior Video Editor’s role is to support the Video Editor to create on-brand, stylish and relevant video content for our online and social media platforms with a specific focus on paid social media channels (Meta, TikTok, Snap, etc.). The role supports in creating and transforming existing assets into high-performing ads and engaging social content that drives clicks, conversions, and awareness. The role will focus primarily on video campaigns or social video projects for both paid and organic social. While editing is the primary focus of this role, there will also be opportunity to branch into shooting for content creation and executing video edits across the wider business. You will be Producing output for our paid and organic digital channels within provided timelines Executing against a wider social media strategy, storyboards and video direction, set by Creative Leads/Video Lead, whilst maintaining the handwriting of our brand values Working closely with the direction of the Video Lead and Digital Design manager to optimise assets and ensure video assets align with performance goals and brand voice Editing, cutting down, and reformatting long-form and brand video content into short-form, platform-native assets tailored for paid social ads (10 & 20 second formats) Adapting content to best practices for social platforms with a focus on Meta channels & TikTok Implementing provided copy/CTAs to align with performance goals Optimising videos for mobile-first viewing (e.g., subtitles, fast pacing, attention-grabbing visuals in first 3 seconds) Maintaining organised file systems Reworking existing assets to align with new, royalty free music, if required for Paid social channels Your Talent… Demonstrable experience (e.g., academic, internship, or freelance) editing video for social media Apply visual brand guidelines across 3 brands for a mix of end-uses Directing, shooting, technical camera skills & motion graphics animation experience is a bonus Competency in editing and color correction within Adobe Premiere Pro. Additional skills in After Effects and post production a bonus Ability to interpret a brief and execute the video asset according to provided direction Understanding of best in class performance principles on digital and social channels Inject digital innovations and trends into our video deliverables Self-starter who is proactive, organized, and able to prioritise tasks under the supervision of the Video Lead/Digital Design Manager An interest in AI video production is a bonus Excellent communication skills Confident filming on iPhone as well as camera Diversity & Inclusion We recognise that our differences are what make us who we are.
