The Role - Supply Chain & Purchasing Manager
This is a hands-on, high-impact position, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. You'll be responsible for developing and implementing efficient supply chain strategies and purchasing processes that can scale with the business.
Key Responsibilities:
* Establish and refine end-to-end supply chain systems and processes
* Oversee stock control and inventory management across multiple sites
* Manage supplier relationships and negotiate competitive terms
* Work closely with operations, finance, and logistics teams to align procurement with business needs
* Lead demand forecasting and ensure optimum stock levels
* Analyse data using advanced Excel to drive smarter purchasing decisions
* Identify cost-saving opportunities and support margin improvement initiatives
* Support the business through its next phase of expansion and infrastructure development
About You:
* Proven experience in a similar supply chain or purchasing management role, ideally within foodservice, retail, or wholesale
* Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
* Highly organised, process-driven and detail-oriented
* Confident working at both strategic and operational levels
* Proactive, adaptable, and ready to roll your sleeves up
* Experience in high-growth environments is a strong advantage
