As Group Treasurer, you will play a pivotal role at the heart of Plymouth Community Homes' financial strategy. Reporting to the Head of Finance, you'll lead on treasury, funding, liquidity, business planning and risk management across the Group.
Responsibilities
* Shape and deliver the Group's treasury strategy
* Oversight of long‑term (30‑year) financial business planning and stress testing
* Manage lender, investor and key stakeholder relationships
* Support major development and capital investment decisions
* Build, develop and motivate a high‑performing Corporate Finance team
You’ll work closely with senior leaders and the Board, translating complex financial insight into clear, confident decision‑making – all while contributing to a socially purposeful organisation that genuinely makes a difference to communities.
Qualifications
Our ideal candidate for this role is someone who:
* Strong financial business planning experience, including long‑term modelling, forecasting and stress testing
* Proven ability to work with complex financial models and interpret them for senior stakeholders
* Experience presenting financial insight and recommendations at senior leadership or Board level
* A solid understanding of treasury, funding, liquidity, and financial risk management
* Exposure to debt funding & loan facilities
* Confidence building productive relationships with lenders, advisers and internal stakeholders
* Leadership capability – either managing teams now or clearly ready to step into a broader leadership remit

Desirable (but flexible)
* Experience within housing, real estate, infrastructure, public sector or another regulated or asset‑heavy environment
* Exposure to capital markets or secured lending
* Knowledge of housing association finance or adjacent sectors
