EYFS Level 3 Teaching Assistant – Nursery School (Selly Oak)
Are you a Level 3 qualified EYFS Teaching Assistant or Nursery Practitioner with a passion for supporting young children in their early development?
Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a friendly and nurturing nursery school in the Selly Oak area to recruit a committed EYFS Level 3 Support Staff / Teaching Assistant. This role is agency-based initially and will run until the end of the academic year, with a strong likelihood of a permanent contract for the right candidate.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is enthusiastic, caring, and experienced within an EYFS setting, and who is keen to make a real difference during these crucial early years.
The successful candidate will:
* Hold a Level 3 qualification in Early Years / Childcare
* Have previous experience working within an EYFS or nursery setting
* Have a good understanding of SEN and inclusive practice
* Be nurturing, patient, and committed to supporting children’s wellbeing and development
* Work effectively as part of a team and follow the EYFS framework
Key roles and responsibilities:
* Supporting children’s learning through play-based and creative activities
* Providing 1:1 support and working with small groups where required
* Assisting with interventions and targeted support
* Supporting children’s social, emotional, and physical development
* Helping to maintain strong communication between school and home
* Supporting the class teacher and contributing to a positive learning environment

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
