What Is the Future Teachers Programme?
This programme provides graduates with real-life school experience to help prepare for teacher training. Whether you're exploring the profession or committed to becoming a teacher, it's a structured and supportive pathway into education.
Your Role: Cover Supervisor
As a Cover Supervisor in a Southampton secondary school, you will:
* Supervise students during lessons when the teacher is absent
* Ensure students are focused on the pre-set work
* Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning atmosphere
* Experience life in the classroom without planning or marking responsibilities
