Description
- Provide expert advice to leaders and employees on HR policies, procedures, and best practices
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Support and coach managers on employee relations, including performance, discipline, and grievance matters
- Analyse HR data (e.g. absence, turnover) and guide managers to take action based on trends and insights
- Lead and support HR projects, employee engagement initiatives, and continuous improvement activities
- Ensure compliance with employment law, GDPR, and company policies, proactively managing risks
- Support recruitment, employee development, training, and succession planning activities
- Manage HR administration, reporting, data accuracy, and HR systems effectively
- Promote employee wellbeing, equal opportunities, and effective performance management across the business
- Uphold company values, health & safety standards, and contribute to a modern, efficient HR approach across sites
Profile
A successful HRBP should have:
- A strong educational background in human resources, business management, or a related field in a manufacturing or logistics environment.
- Have previously worked with Unions.
- Proven experience in a similar HR business partner role within the industrial or manufacturing industry.
- Solid knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practices.
- Experience in talent management, employee relations, and organisational development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships across all levels.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
- A proactive and solutions-focused approach to problem-solving.
